Information (and Disclaimer) about Video Abstracts
The video abstracts are very short videos (about 5 minutes long) that briefly explain what is done in the paper so that
researchers in theoretical computer science have a convenient means to inform themselves about (part of) my research.
In particular, the video abstracts are not meant to popularise my research (in terms of making it accessible to a broader
general audience) or as some kind of "science outreach" effort.
Therefore, the video abstracts
- do not give any motivation for the investigated questions.
- discuss neither the relevant related work nor the work the paper builds on.
- do not give the relevant citations to other papers.
All the above aspects are thoroughly covered by the respective scientific publications.
The video abstracts must not be confused with scientific publications; they do not have any scientific value on their own and
independent from the proper scientific publications they are clearly linked to.
